Job summary

Apex Inc. is hiring Care Assistants to support clients at home in Newhaven and surrounding areas. Roles include mornings, days, evenings and nights with every other weekend off for balance.

A driving licence and own vehicle are preferred, with mileage and travel time included in the hourly rate. We offer guaranteed hours for flexible availability, enhanced bank holiday rates, holiday pay and a pension scheme, plus DBS/PVG, company phone and uniform.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence and own vehicle.
• DBS check required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care including continence support, washing and dressing.
• Manage medications.
• Cook or prepare hot meals and assist with domestic tasks.
• Provide companionship, reassurance and joy to clients.
