Job summary

Bupa UK is hiring a Care Assistant at Cottenham Court Care Home in Cambridge. The role involves providing person-centred care, supporting independence and choice for residents, and working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high standards of care. Location: Cottenham Court Care Home, High Street, Cottenham, Cambridge.

Contract: Permanent – Full Time. Hours include 3 or 4 days per week with alternating weekends. Salary £13.30–£14.30 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Motivation, positivity, and great interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: Care home experience or Health and Social Care qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with companionship and personal care.
• Observe and document changes in residents' behaviour per legislation.
• Support nutrition and hydration according to care plans.
• Provide physical and mental stimulation through activities, group or individual.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory requirements.
