Bridge Oak Care Homes in Dewsbury is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join the nights team at Ashworth Grange. You will support residents with daily living, maintain dignity and comfort, and help provide compassionate, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role (NVQ Level 3 or willing to work towards it).

Responsibilities

• Ensure the highest levels of care by supporting residents with daily living.
• Support training and supervision of junior staff under supervision of senior staff.
• Assist residents in all care needs while maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Assist residents with mobility, and use of aids.
• Monitor residents who may be confused or have behavioural issues.
• Complete and review care planning needs and daily records.
• Support social activities and interactions within the home.
• Answer nurse call, door, and telephone, and relay messages promptly.
• Liaise with GPs and Support Managers regarding residents’ well-being.
