Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our team at Phoenix Park Care Village in Scunthorpe. We offer full or part-time roles with a 7-day shift pattern and a range of benefits while supporting residents with age-related conditions, dementia, and mobility needs.

Full training is provided; previous care experience is welcome but not required. DBS is fully funded and a generous holiday pay scheme is in place, with a Refer a Friend bonus up to £250 per successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Care experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Residents may have dementia; understanding is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and selecting outfits.
• Support residents to dine and maintain nutrition/hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to promote residents’ well-being.
