Job summary

Creative Support is seeking warm, caring people to join Westmeads, our extra care service in Royston, Barnsley. You’ll provide personalised care and support that helps older residents stay independent, active and connected to their community.

Full-time roles are 37.5 hours per week; part-time roles start from 15 hours. Full training is provided, and benefits include pension contributions, 28 days annual leave and enhanced DBS funded by the company.

Qualifications

• Compassion and reliability are essential.
• Good communication and clear record-keeping are required.
• Able to assist with moving and positioning, and daily living tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care and support to residents.
• Offer dignified personal care, emotional support and help with daily living.
• Assist with meals, hydration, household tasks and safe medication support.
• Encourage participation in activities and maintain relationships.
• Coordinate with families, health professionals and housing partners to ensure person-centred care.
• Respond to changing needs and support wellbeing.
