Job summary

Amica Care is opening a brand-new Care home, Greenland's Meadow, in September 2026. We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants (Days) to join our team and support our first residents. You will assist residents with daily routines, promoting independence and wellbeing within a welcoming, supportive environment.

• Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Getting to know residents as individuals and supporting them in a way that reflects their personal needs, choices and routines.
• Helping residents with day-to-day activities while encouraging independence, dignity and wellbeing.
• Building warm, positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
• Noticing the small things that matter and sharing changes or concerns with the team to ensure residents receive the right support.
• Keeping clear care records and communicating well with colleagues to provide high-quality care.
• Working safely and following safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing guidance.
