Job summary

Amica Care is opening Greenland's Meadow, a brand-new care home in September 2026. We are seeking compassionate Care Assistants (Nights) to join our team and help shape a warm, welcoming home for our first residents.

You will support residents with daily routines, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing within a caring, supportive team. Prior care experience is welcome, but passion for helping others matters most.

Qualifications

  • Care experience welcomed but passion for supporting people is most important.
  • Good communication skills and team work.
  • Willingness to learn and be reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents with daily routines, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
  • Build warm, positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
  • Keep clear care records and communicate changes to the team.
  • Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing guidelines.
  • Be part of a friendly team and help create a home where residents feel comfortable and cared for.

Amica Care is excited to be opening our brand - new Care home, Greenland's Meadow in September 2026! We are ready to start looking for compassionate Care Assistants (Nights) to join our team and support our very first residents. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a warm, welcoming home where residents feel safe, valued and supported.

The role:

In this role, you will support residents with their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. Working as part of a caring and supportive team, you will provide person-centred care and help create positive experiences for residents every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Getting to know residents as individuals and supporting them in a way that reflects their personal needs, choices and routines.
  • Helping residents with day-to-day activities while encouraging independence, dignity and wellbeing.
  • Building warm, positive relationships with residents, families, colleagues and visiting professionals.
  • Noticing the small things that matter and sharing any changes or concerns with the team, so residents receive the right support.
  • Keeping clear care records and communicating well with colleagues to help provide consistent, high-quality care.
  • Working safely and thoughtfully, following guidance around safeguarding, infection prevention, confidentiality and wellbeing.
  • Being part of a friendly team and helping to create a home where residents feel comfortable, respected and cared for.
About You:

You will be caring, reliable and committed to making a positive difference to residents' lives. You will bring a kind and respectful approach, good communication skills and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in care is welcome, but what matters most is your passion for supporting people and working well as part of a team.
