Job summary

Hoople Group's Hillside Residential Care in Redhill, South Hereford, is hiring a Care Assistant. The role supports residents with daily living, promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing in a welcoming residential setting focused on reablement.

You will join a friendly team with full training provided and opportunities to progress. Flexible days or nights are available with enhanced rates for night hours.

Qualifications

• Care experience welcome or willingness to start a rewarding career in care
• Full training provided
• Willing to complete Level 2/3 Care qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support residents with personal care and daily living tasks
• Promote independence and wellbeing in a safe, homely environment
• Encourage social engagement and maintain community connections
• Assist with mobility and handling, and use of equipment safely
• Administer medication and maintain records where trained
• Follow care plans with colleagues and professionals to ensure high-quality care
• Night staff must remain awake to ensure resident safety and fire safety procedures
