Job summary

Roseberry Care Centres in South Shields is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents in daily living, personal care, and activities. The role includes 33-44 hours per week across day and night shifts at the Chichester Court location with salary of £12.71 per hour.

The position requires ideally an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care, with at least 1 year of care experience; strong communication, listening and empathy skills are essential. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Care although this is not essential
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
