Job summary

Henderson House Care Home in Dalgety Bay, Fife, is seeking a Care Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents. You will assist with personal care, mobility and nutrition, following care plans while supporting independence and wellbeing.

Open to both experienced carers and newcomers, with full training and ongoing development. PVG pension paid, uniform provided, and generous annual leave available for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow individual care plans and recognise changes in condition.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, positive environment.
• Support dignity, independence and overall wellbeing of residents.
