Job summary

Empowering U is recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support children and adults with complex needs in Nottingham NG9. Flexible shifts include Days, Nights, Weekdays and Weekends, with pay £12.71–£14.29 per hour depending on package and availability.

You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living and mobility, and support with clinical tasks where trained. DBS clearance is preferred. Roles involve home-based care and travel within assignments.

Qualifications

• 6+ months care experience (essential).
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• DBS check (enhanced) preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living and personal care.
• Support mobility, repositioning and manual handling.
• Administer medication and support clinical tasks where trained.
• Provide specialist care (tracheostomy, PEG feeding, catheter care).
• CPAP overnight support and driving clients to appointments when required.
