Home Instead is recruiting Care Assistants for Crawley, Horley, East Grinstead and surrounding areas. The role offers hourly pay from £13.00 to £26.00, plus mileage, holiday and pension contributions. Training is provided and a DBS check will be required. UK work eligibility is essential.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training provided.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with people.
• Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
• Genuine patience, empathy and passion for helping others.
• Reliable and punctual with flexible availability.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to clients with warmth during daily activities.
• Assist with meals, feeding and ensuring good nutrition.
• Help clients move safely and comfortably and monitor mobility needs.
• Observe clients' wellbeing and report changes to the team.
• Engage clients in social activities and provide emotional support.
• Keep living spaces clean, tidy and safe.
