Disability North in Gateshead is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide 24-hour care for a 57-year-old man with Huntington's Disease. You will support with PEG feeding, personal care and medication management in a home setting, ensuring safety and dignity at all times.

The role includes 32 hours per week on day shifts over four days, with potential for day/night shift coverage during holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing 24-hour personal care or similar support.
• Ability to support with PEG feeding and complex care needs.
• Must have permission to work in the U.K. at start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour care for a 57-year-old man with Huntington's Disease.
• Support with PEG feeding, personal care and medication management.
• Cover day/night shifts as needed and drive if not local.
