Job summary

Prime Life in Solihull is seeking an Activities Coordinator to create engaging daily activities for residents living with age-related conditions and dementia.

Based at Tanworth Court, you will plan trips, provide companionship, coordinate events and fundraising, with regular shifts across a 7-day week.

You should be a caring, patient person with good time management, able to work with the Quality Matters team and join a supportive care home.

Qualifications

• A genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Experience organising activities in a similar care setting is advantageous.
• Good time-keeping skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily activities that promote residents' social, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
• Schedule trips and excursions aligned with residents' interests.
• Provide friendship and accompany residents on outings or appointments.
• Organise fundraising and arrange in-home entertainment.
• Maintain accurate records and complete documentation.
• Welcome families and encourage participation.
