An established industry player is seeking a Company Secretariat Assistant to join their dynamic Legal and Compliance team. We have an excellent new opportunity for a Company Secretariat Assistant to join our Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Ethics & Compliance, and Secretariat Function (LRECS). LRECS focusses on providing a diverse and inclusive environment with a strong emphasis on wellbeing and delivering opportunities for growth and personal development.
In this role you will provide company secretarial support to the Secretariat function which has primary responsibility within Centrica for corporate governance, share scheme compliance and UK statutory compliance.
Location: We work flexibly in line with our Flexible First working arrangements believing that empowered colleagues are happier and more productive. The successful candidate will, however, need to be comfortable commuting to our Windsor office on a weekly basis and to our other locations as may be needed.
What will you do?
The primary area of accountability is in relation to UK statutory company administration. However, other accountabilities include providing support to the Centrica plc Board and Committees from time to time and liaising with the Company's share registrars to ensure that Centrica's share register is managed efficiently and effectively.
