Job summary

Djanogly City Academy in Nottingham is seeking a committed individual to support scholars and families by building strong links with community organisations, services and external agencies.

The post-holder will provide guidance, advocacy and targeted support to help remove barriers to learning, raise aspirations, improve attendance and behaviour, and promote positive outcomes, particularly for disadvantaged scholars.

The successful candidate will have excellentcommunication and relationship-building skills, experience of working withchildren, young people or families, and the ability to work collaborativelywith a range of stakeholders. They will be empathetic, resilient and proactive,with a strong understanding of the barriers that some communities face and acommitment to promoting inclusion, wellbeing and positive life opportunitiesfor all scholars.
