Job summary

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the North Alliance Wound Care Clinic Service in a part-time role. The unit operates across multiple clinic sites in North Staffordshire, with base clinic assignments and travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Essential - Nursing degree (or equivalent) including registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Desirable - Further continued professional development, practice supervisor and assessor training.
• Must be able to travel within a geographical area to meet post requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, review and complete wound care for patients.
• Provide a plan of care using wound care policies and pathways.
• Liaise with Wound Clinic Leadership team and Tissue Viability specialists when indicated.
• Providing holistic assessment of patients' needs and onward referrals when required.
• Ensure safeguarding needs are met and escalated where indicated.
• Support junior staff and students in achieving learning outcomes.
