Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 4 Support Time and Recovery Worker for the Health and Justice Vulnerability Service (HJVS). You will work primarily with adults in the community and custody settings, delivering recovery-focused support to vulnerable individuals.

You will collaborate with police, peer mentors, probation, and court staff to help clients access housing, services and social supports.

Qualifications

• Experience in community and forensic mental health settings.
• Lived experience of the criminal justice system encouraged but not essential.
• Excellent communication, resourceful, creative and resilient.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients to aid engagement with services.
• Signpost service users to housing, education and health supports.
• Develop links into community and agencies to improve access.
• Work flexibly, visiting custody suites, courts and community sites.
• Collaborate with police, peer mentors, probation and court staff.
