Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker within the Worcestershire Eating Disorders Service on a 12 month fixed term contract.
We are seeking an individual who has an interest in working with people who are seeking treatment for their eating disorder. The position involves working closely within our multi-disciplinary team and working within NICE guideline standards. The role will involve supporting monitoring and reporting the physiological impact of their eating concerns.
About the service:
The Eating Disorders Teams is a countywide service that provides clinical management and psychological interventions for people with eating disorders across Worcestershire.
You will be joining a well-established multidisciplinary team who values the variety of skills, knowledge and experience each member brings.
This post is a part time working 27.5 hours per week
Please note the Trust will not provide sponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to work in the UK status.
Main duties of the jobWith the support of the multi-disciplinary team, the postholder will need to participate in the monitoring and the evaluation of all care and support on an individual patient basis, with a particular emphasis on recovery focused interventions.
Support professionally qualified staff, often without direct supervision, to ensure that patient and carers within the designated caseload receive, through liaison with the appropriate agencies, a range of services and resources appropriate to their needs.
Ensure Recovery focused patient care interventions and care planning.
The postholder will be working across our hubs and must have a driving licence and access to a car to meet the travel requirements for the role.
