Job summary

Community Support Worker - Disability & Mental Health - Ulverston

Hourly Rate: £13.69 - £13.90 per hour (£14.43p including supplement - after 6 months)

A market supplement of £0.53p per hour is currently being applied to this role and will be payable once you have been in post for 6 months.The Market Supplement will be applied to both your basic salary and to anyadditionalhours, uplifting the hourly rate to £14.43 per hour.

Location: Ulverston and Barrow

Contract Type: Permanent

Available Hours: 2 x 23.25 hours per week and 1 x 32 hours per week & relief (0 hours)

We operate a 2 week rota, shifts will include earlies, evenings, weekends, sleeps and Bank Holidays.

As a Community Support Worker you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care.

You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

Supported Living empowers vulnerable adults, including people with learning disabilities or complex care needs, to access the personalised support they need to live independently in their own homes in the community. Staff work with individuals to build life skills and are led by the individuals’ interests and priorities.
