We Are With You is seeking a Substance Use Nurse to join our service in South Ayrshire. You will deliver nursing care to a diverse service user group and support recovery through evidence-based interventions in community settings.

As a registered nurse with current NMC status, you will assess needs, plan and evaluate care and work with multidisciplinary teams to promote wellbeing. This part-time, permanent post is based in Ayr KA7 2EA, offering £34,500 per year.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and post registration clinical experience.
• Experience delivering nursing interventions in a community setting.
• Demonstrable experience in comprehensive assessment of need including risk assessments.
• Knowledge of safe storage, handling and administration of drugs including controlled drugs.
• Able to work with a wide variety of groups in different settings and roles.
• Experience in drugs and alcohol settings is desirable.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle.
