Job summary

Co-op Hastings is hiring a Customer Team Member to join our local store. You will deliver friendly, helpful service on the shop floor and tills, support stock management and daily operations, and help keep shelves stocked with accurate prices and dates.

This role includes a mix of early, mid and late shifts, with at least two closing shifts and weekend work. Full training is provided, and you'll join a supportive team helping the community and promoting Co-op membership.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Keep shelves stocked and check prices, dates, and stock accuracy.
• Ensure the store is safe and legal, maintaining prices, dates and temperatures as required.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community.
