Job summary

Barnet Community Staff Nurse (Pathway to SCPHN HV) is a development role within Whittington Health NHS Trust. It is a 12‑month fixed term contract at 37.5 hours per week, with a CPD link to the University of Hertfordshire and potential progression to Specialist Community Public Health Nurse training (Health Visiting).

Qualifications

• Qualified registered nurse with paediatric/community experience.
• Experience working with children and families.
• Excellent communication and IT skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support health visitors in delivering the Healthy Child Programme.
• Work across the 0-19 service to improve health outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in development of intervention pathways and health improvement activities.
• Collaborate with partner organisations to address health needs.
