Job summary

East of England Community Health and Care NHS Trust in Cambridgeshire/Luton area is seeking motivated Community Staff Nurses to support the District Nursing team and provide holistic care to housebound patients in Luton. The role covers 8am–6pm, 7 days a week, with induction and on‑the‑job training.

Experience of working in Luton is advantageous; a UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients are treated with care and compassion.
• Support the senior nurse in organising and coordinating overall care.
• Assess and prioritise unscheduled requests for nursing intervention.
• Refer patients to other services/agencies as appropriate.
• Organise own work and delegate tasks to junior staff.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to governance and training.
