An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join the District Nursing Service within Merthyr & Cynon areas. The applicant must be a Registered Nurse, confident and competent in a wide range of clinical skills, and demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. A flexible approach to work and the ability to travel between sites in a timely manner are required.

Principal Duties

The post holder will support the District Nursing Team in managing multidisciplinary/multi-agency packages of scheduled and unscheduled care for patients with complex and palliative care needs, ensuring an efficient and effective service.

They will prioritize their own home visits based on clinical need and geographical location.
