The NHS is seeking motivated Band 5 Community Nurses for the North Bedfordshire Primary Home Care Team. This role involves providing excellent patient care, facilitating self-care initiatives, and engaging in health promotion activities. Applicants should be Registered General Nurses with a passion for community nursing and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
We are seeking motivated, dynamic, and passionate Band 5 Community Nurses to work within our North Bedfordshire Primary Home Care Team, based in Bedford, however, there is an expectation that staff will cover across the bases if needed. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the community nursing setting.

Time : 09:00 am - 16:00 pm (Come prepared to be interviewed on the day)
Morning registration: 9:00 AM -10:00 AM (We wont accept candidates for the morning session after this time)
Afternoon registration: 12:30 - 13:00pm (We wont accept candidates for the afternoon session after this time)
Afternoon Interview : 13:00- 16:00 pm

The event is an all day event. Candidates need to register for either the morning session / the afternoon session.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in facilitating self-care for patients with long-term conditions, health promotion and innovative activities and projects that enhance patient service delivery and staff wellbeing. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Urgent Response and Virtual Wards, which is a focus of our teams.

Experience in the field of adult community services is desirable but a willingness to learn and contribute is more important. Newly qualified nurses who are passionate about a career in the community are welcome to apply.
You must have a driving license and have access to a vehicle in order to carry out your duties. You will be required to work a shift pattern covering 7 days a week from 08:00-21:00.
