Job summary

We are seeking motivated Band 5 Community Nurses to work within our North Bedfordshire Primary Home Care Team, based in Bedford. Staff may cover across bases as needed and play a key role in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to adults in the community.

You will be involved in promoting self-care for patients with long-term conditions, health promotion activities and projects to improve service delivery and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current registration and practicing licence.
• Experience in community or district nursing is desirable but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality patient-centered nursing care in the community setting.
• Support self-care and health promotion for adults over 18.
• Cover across North Bedfordshire bases as required, with a flexible shift pattern.
