A leading healthcare provider is seeking skilled nursing professionals to manage various clinical responsibilities. The role involves independent practice in diabetic management, wound care, and palliative care, supported by specialist teams. Ideal candidates will have experience in these areas and a commitment to patient care.
Training will be provided, including access to the preceptorship course and other in-house training.
Ability to work independently, managing your own caseload and making informed clinical decisions.
Blood sugar monitoring, insulin administration, with access to a specialist diabetic nursing team.
Leg ulcer management, compression therapy, Doppler assessments, VAC dressings, pressure ulcer care, and post-surgical wound management.
Supported by a specialist tissue viability team.
Male, female, and suprapubic catheterisation, bowel care, and continence assessments.
Care of PICC/midline, preparation, and administration of IV medications.
Symptom management, support visits, administration of anticipatory medications (stat doses and syringe drivers), with access to a specialist community palliative care team.
Management of JVAC, lantern drains, and Pleurex drains.
