Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Community Staff Nurses to join our District Nursing teams along the Bournemouth coast. We welcome newly registered or experienced nurses; full training and support will be offered to ensure high-quality care in patients' homes.

Successful applicants must be able to drive and have access to a car. DBS check is required and the Trust will cover the DBS cost.

Qualifications

• NMC registration or newly registered nurse welcome.
• Ability to drive and visit patients at home.
• Commitment to high-quality holistic patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard nursing care to patients in their own homes.
• Administer medications and injections, including IV therapies where appropriate.
• Support palliative/end-of-life care and diabetes management.
• Work flexibly, including weekends, late shifts and bank holidays, pro rata.

Our busy District Nursing teams along the coast of sunny Bournemouth are looking for Community Staff Nurses to join their teams. Applicants can be newly registered , or experienced, as full training and support will be offered. We are looking for dynamic, motivated individuals who wish to provide high standard nursing care to people in their own homes.

The successful individual must be able to drive and have access to a car.

Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Please ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.

Our teams provide holistic care to patients at home, including palliative/ End of Life care, IV drug administration, medication/ injection administration, diabetes management.

We have a full time vacancy available. There will be an expectation for the successful candidates to work weekends, late shifts and bank holidays pro rata.

With excellent links to local universities, the training and development we are able to offer is first class, allowing rapid upskilling and support with new skills. Newly registered staff will have access to a preceptorship program and a specific clinical upskilling program to support their transition from student to RN.

We would welcome applications from newly registered nurses and we provide a very comprehensive and fully supported Preceptorship Programme for newly qualified healthcare professionals.
