Job summary

Wickersley Partnership Trust (Rotherham) seeks a structured Project Manager to deliver physical activity projects across schools, coordinating stakeholders from education, health, and community organisations. You will manage budgets, timelines, and KPIs to achieve national outcomes.

You will lead end-to-end project delivery within the Sports Development Team, overseeing governance and evaluation while engaging with young people and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing and delivering projects within education, health, youth work, or physical activity sectors.
• Experience in managing externally funded project budgets and reporting to funders (e.g., Sport England).
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills with multi-stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor physical activity projects from inception to completion.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of the CAS Framework across schools.
• Oversee delivery and compliance of externally funded initiatives, tracking milestones and reporting schedules.
• Coordinate with schools, local authorities, healthcare providers, and community partners.
• Design sustainable pathways linking schools with community sports clubs.
• Incorporate pupil voice and community insights into project scope.
• Identify and mitigate barriers to participation (cost, transport, accessibility).
• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure impact and ROI.
