Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist to provide a clinical and advisory SLT service to preschool and school-age children with diverse speech, language and communication needs across community clinics, children's centres and early years settings.

You will deliver assessments, differential diagnoses and evidence-based interventions, working with SLT Assistants and colleagues, and participate in multidisciplinary work to support children and families within the

Qualifications

• Qualified SLT with HCPC registration and eligible to work in the UK.
• Experience with assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in children.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently with supervision as needed.
• Experience working across community settings and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat children with speech, language and communication needs.
• Deliver individual, group and parent-workshop interventions.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate therapy interventions and adjust targets.
• Collaborate with SLT assistants and other health and education colleagues.
