Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Specialist Speech & Language Therapist (Community) to deliver support for children across community clinics in Southend/Castlepoint & Rochford. The role is full-time and permanent, with potential progression from Band 5 to Band 6 within the Children's SLT service.

The post requires RCSLT NQP competencies for at least 2 years, independent caseload management, and supervision of junior staff.

Competenze

Must have completed and signed off RCSLT NQP competencies for at least 2 years.
Experience delivering SLT services to children (0–18) in community settings.
Ability to supervise more junior staff on request by head of service.
Experience managing an independent caseload at Band 5 level for at least 24 months.

Mansioni

Deliver specialist SLT services to children across community clinics.
Provide supervision for junior staff (Band 5 or SLT assistants).
Develop skills to deliver face-to-face/video triage interventions as part of the service rota.
Manage an independent caseload for children with speech, language and communication needs.
