Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a Safe Neighbourhood Officer to join the Safe Neighbourhoods and Support Service in East London. This full-time, permanent, field-based role oversees Hackney and surrounding areas, with occasional travel to other locations as required.

You will investigate and manage anti-social behaviour cases, work with local authorities, police and partners, and deliver targeted prevention projects while safeguarding customers and communities.

Qualifications

• Experience of managing anti-social behaviour cases.
• Experience within housing, property management or a related environment.
• Knowledge of social housing legislation and current best practice.
• Strong investigation and case management skills.
• Experience of safeguarding vulnerable customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and prioritisation.
• Good record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Educated to GCSE Level 2 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage ASB cases with a victim-centred approach.
• Collaborate with local authorities, police and partners on prevention projects.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and coordinate solutions.
• Support legal actions including court hearings and injunctions.
• Work as a mobile role requiring a driving licence and own vehicle.
