Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a proactive Manager in the Prevention Team to lead Community Safety Coordinators and drive multi-agency prevention initiatives in Buckinghamshire.

The role focuses on building partnerships with healthcare and adult social care, using data to identify trends, inform priorities and deliver targeted prevention activity, including addressing hoarding and self-neglect.

Qualifikationen

• Higher-level qualification: A level, apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• IOSH Managing Safely, or willingness to work towards.
• AET, or willingness to work towards.

• Lead, manage and develop the Community Safety Coordinators, including supervision, coaching and performance management
• Develop and strengthen partnerships with healthcare and adult social care, and identify wider partnership opportunities
• Identify ways partners can support prevention activity, extending reach and improving referral pathways into the Service
• Use community risk, fire and prevention data to spot trends, inform priorities and support evidence-based decisions
• Develop, deliver, monitor and evaluate targeted community safety and prevention initiatives
• Coordinate the Service's response to hoarding and self-neglect, working with partners on multi-agency interventions
• Support strategic prevention projects, safeguarding initiatives, seasonal campaigns and wider Prevention priorities
• Monitor the effectiveness and value of prevention activity, including the impact of partnership working
• Represent the Service professionally across partnership forums and external networks

This manager post sits in the Prevention Team of Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, which works with communities and partners to reduce risk. The role leads the Community Safety Coordinators and builds partnerships with healthcare and adult social care, including coordinating the Service's response to hoarding and self-neglect. It is a 37-hour post with a strong partnership and data focus. A full UK driving licence is required.
