Job summary

Surrey Downs Health and Care is seeking a dedicated Rehabilitation Assistant to join our community therapy team in Leatherhead. You will support rehabilitation across physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy in homes, clinics, and community spaces to help individuals regain independence and improve quality of life.

The role involves providing rehabilitation support, carrying a patient caseload, and working with therapists to monitor progress and adjust programmes.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Proven broad based educational achievement.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation support services.
• Carry own patient caseload and assess/treat routine patients within guidelines.
• Monitor progress and make minor adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Work unsupervised, report progress to the treating therapist and raise issues as needed.
