Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Ellon Community Rehab Team. You will conduct home assessments and treatment plans, aiming to prevent hospital admissions and support discharges through rehab and enablement.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and experience in community caseload management. A valid UK driving licence and access to a car are essential. Regular CPD and development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Registered Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration.
• Experience in community rehabilitation and caseload management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide full assessment and treatment in patients' homes.
• Prioritise responses to prevent hospital admission and support discharges.
• Collaborate within a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
• Contribute to student training and OT service development.
• Deliver services across 7 days, including weekends and holidays when required.
