Job summary

NHS Grampian invites applications for a Fixed Term Band 6 Occupational Therapist based at Turriff Community Hospital, working 30 hours per week in Priority Response and Community Rehabilitation.

The successful candidate will provide full assessment and treatment for hospital patients, support discharge, and contribute to community rehabilitation initiatives within a wide multidisciplinary team. A UK driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with registration (HCPC) and current practice status.
• Experience in hospital-based caseload management and rehabilitation.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide full assessment and treatment programmes for hospital patients.
• Deliver Priority Response to prevent admission or aid discharge.
• Contribute to potential community rehabilitation services.
• Supervise Band 4 OT support worker and contribute to service development.
• Engage in 7-day service delivery as required, including weekends and holidays.
