We offer a 37.5-hour, term-time-only position in the Abingdon Locality, where you can develop your skills alongside experienced practitioners in various settings, including primary and secondary schools and clients' homes. The role involves working with school-aged children, providing public health care in areas such as safeguarding, emotional, sexual, and physical health, supporting schools in delivering personal, health, and social education, and managing medical conditions in schools.
All experience levels are welcome, whether newly qualified or seeking a career change.

Under the delegation of the SCPHN, you will contribute to the safe and effective delivery of the 0-19 service within your caseload. You will work with local 0-19 teams and support wider locality efforts for school-aged children and young people. The role involves partnership working with children, young people, families, primary care, schools, and other agencies to facilitate health-promoting activities and improve health outcomes. You will deliver services in schools and community settings, undertake Healthy Child Programme assessments, and plan, deliver, and evaluate public health initiatives.
You will adhere to safeguarding policies and actively participate in safeguarding processes under supervision. Developing and maintaining interagency networks is also a key aspect of this role.

This role requires a DBS check due to safeguarding policies. The salary ranges from £29,970 to £36,483 per year, pro-rata.
