Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Physiotherapy Assistant to join the Community Learning Disability Service in Oxford. You will support planning and delivering physiotherapy input in community settings for service users with learning disabilities, supervised by a senior physiotherapist.

Based in Banbury, Oxford, or Abingdon with options to work from home, you will develop skills across assessments, interventions and IT-enabled care, and contribute to multidisciplinary teams while

Qualifications

• Full driving licence and access to a car.
• IT skills sufficient to use clinical records and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine physiotherapy interventions and basic assessments for clients with complex disabilities.
• Record all work on clinical records and share information with supervising physiotherapist.
• Manage a prioritised caseload with support from a physiotherapist.
• Provide feedback to parents/carers, other professionals and supervising physiotherapist.
• Undertake manual handling and work in varied environments, including on the floor and in pools.
• Deliver interventions across community settings and via home visits.
