Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist for a 12-month fixed-term/secondment role in the Coventry Integrated Neighbourhood Teams. The post covers community settings, including patients' homes, with a focus on reablement and discharge support.

The role requires comprehensive clinical assessments and evidence-based interventions across neurological, orthopaedic, musculoskeletal and elderly care.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in physiotherapy and HCPC registration.
• Post-graduate training relevant to physical conditions.
• Experience in community or intermediate care settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist physiotherapy assessment, treatment and review of patients with a wide variety of conditions.
• Deliver interventions addressing patients' physical, cognitive, psychosocial, behavioural, sensory and environmental needs.
• Support 7-day working rotas to ensure delivery of key services.
• Contribute to service improvement initiatives and data quality.
• Support and supervise junior staff and students as appropriate.
