Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and treatments for adults in community settings.

• Collaborate with carers, GPs, Social Services, nursing teams and voluntary organisations.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records and prepare detailed reports for continuity of care.
• Operate autonomously and adapt to diverse environments.
• Oversee delegation and supervision of rehabilitation assistants as needed.
• Participate in service development, audits and governance to improve quality.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Physiotherapy and be registered with the HCPC.
• Bring experience from within the NHS, specifically in Community and Domiciliary Physiotherapy.
• Demonstrate the ability to function autonomously and effectively within community settings.
• Possess strong communication and documentation skills, essential for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
• Experience in community rehabilitation teams and neurology would be advantageous.
• Capability to supervise and teach assistants or students is desirable.
