Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust in Stroud is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist on a fixed-term 9-month contract (30 hours/week) to join the Integrated Community Team, delivering community rehabilitation and triage alongside nursing, occupational therapy and reablement services.

You will supervise and delegate to the physiotherapy team, manage a caseload, and respond to urgent referrals from the Stroud Referral Centre on a rota.

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with NHS banding (Band 6) or eligible for Band 6.
• Experience in community rehabilitation and integrated care pathways.
• Car driver essential for travel across Stroud & Berkeley Vale.

Responsibilities

• Triage and urgent response for referrals via the referral centre.
• Delegate and lead the physiotherapy team within the Integrated Community Team (ICT).
• Manage a clinical caseload and supervise junior staff and assistants.
• Assess, formulate, evaluate and monitor rehabilitation care packages in the community.
• Coordinate, allocate and organise work to meet service priorities; rota duties at Stroud Referral Centre.
