Job summary

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board in Newport, United Kingdom, invites an experienced Physiotherapist to join the Newport Community Resource Team on a permanent basis. You will deliver community-based physiotherapy within an integrated MDT to support patient journeys.

The CRT provides hospital-at-home services; you will work across sites and contribute to service development with Band 6/7 colleagues. Welsh language ability is desirable and Welsh/English speakers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy, HCPC-registered and post-graduate training where relevant.
• Evidence of working in the UK as HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
• Experience with clinical education and a broad rotation program.
• Commitment to CPD and to following relevant clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital-at-home services as part of the Community Resource Team.

Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist with a wide range of clinical skills to join Newport Community Resource Team on a permanent basis. The team is an integrated one, made up of Therapists, Support Staff and Nursing staff. It is a well-established, friendly, innovative team providing community based services across the Newport Borough.
The CRT provides a hospital at home service and the Physiotherapy role is a vital one in working with individuals to ensure a seamless service in their journey. The successful post holder will be supported by the other Band 6's and Band 7 Physiotherapist within the team.
Main duties of the job
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

• Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
• Registered with HCPC
• Specialist training/experience in specialist field to post-grad level or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and experience
• Completion of Clinical Educators Course or equivalent
• Appropriate range of postgrad clinical education
• MCSP
• Broad range of clinical experience through a comprehensive rotation program
• Rotation into the speciality
• Experience of participating in and delivery in-service training programmes
• Evidence of having worked in the UK as a HCPC registered Physio
• Evidence of working unsupervised
• Evidence of participating in or contributing to service development projects
