Job summary

Boots is hiring a registered pharmacist in Manchester to provide NHS, local and private services using in-store and digital tools. You will lead patient safety, maintain high standards, and work with the store team to enhance clinical care.

You will mentor colleagues, promote essential and advanced services, and represent Boots in the community. A collaborative, patient‑centred approach is essential to succeed in this busy role.

Qualifications

• Registered with the relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI).
• Experience leading patient and customer care within a pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NHS, locally commissioned, and private services using in-store and digital tools.
• Lead professional and legal standards for patient safety and pharmacy compliance.
• Monitor, evaluate, and continually improve standards of care and safety.
• Work with the Store Manager to develop the capability of the wider healthcare team.
• Grow talent by coaching, mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Represent Boots within the local community and with healthcare professionals.
