Role Details

• Title: Community Paediatric Care Assistant

• Location: Wooton

• Pay: From £13.97 – £19.99 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to children and young people, including personal care and daily task assistance.
• Manage and respond to challenging behaviours with sensitivity.
• Support children in accessing and participating in community activities.
• Encourage and empower children to achieve greater independence.
• Ensure safe administration of medication.
• Provide advanced clinical care, including ventilation, tracheostomy care, enteral feeding, nebuliser treatment, and seizure management.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of professional care experience or caring for a loved one in the UK.
• The right to work in the UK.
• Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children and young people (preferred, but full training is provided).
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle.
