Disability North in Tadcaster is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to provide practical, friendly support in the community. The role focuses on helping a person with sight impairment access activities, shops and services, with transport to appointments and social outings as needed.

You will help maintain independence, offer companionship, and adapt to study commitments with flexible hours. A driving licence and own car are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence and access to own car.
• Experience supporting someone in the community.
• Comfortable around cats and dogs.
• Flexible hours to fit study commitments.
• London permission to work in UK.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical support while out and about, including transport to activities and appointments.
• Help access shops, services and venues in the community.
