Job summary

Pulse is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Unplanned Care Team in Sussex. You will provide rapid response and intervention to avoid hospital admissions and support timely discharges in both acute and community settings.

In this role you will deliver OT interventions, complete functional assessments, and work with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centred care. A driving licence and access to a car are essential for community visits.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in acute or community settings, ideally unplanned care or rapid response.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; driving licence

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT interventions within an unplanned care service to prevent admissions.
• Complete functional assessments and equipment recommendations for independence.
• Collaborate with the MDT to ensure patient-centred care.
• Respond promptly to urgent referrals and manage a varied caseload.
