Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in Hampshire, working across acute medical and orthopaedic wards. The role involves providing specialist OT interventions to support patient recovery and timely discharges.

You will conduct functional assessments, develop rehab plans, and contribute to discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team. HCPC registration and acute inpatient experience are essential.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience in acute inpatient care, ideally across medical and orthopaedic wards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions for patients on acute medical and orthopaedic wards.
• Complete functional assessments and develop individualized rehabilitation plans.
• Support discharge planning and liaise with the multidisciplinary team.
