Job summary

Pennine Care in Ashton-under-Lyne seeks an Occupational Therapist to join the Community Rehabilitation Team on a temporary contract. The post suits an enthusiastic OT with interest in diverse therapeutic approaches within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will embed the MOHO-based assessment pathway, manage a caseload, and develop group and individual interventions while supporting discharge planning and collaboration with the MDT.

Qualifications

• Must hold a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
• Experience in mental health MDT settings.
• Willingness to undertake further training relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Embed the OT assessment pathway within the Community Rehabilitation Team.
• Manage a caseload and support recovery journeys.
• Undertake specialist OT assessments in self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Develop treatment plans and supervise junior staff.
• Work in MDT with other professionals.
• Write MOHO-based reports and maintain records.
• Travel across the Pennine Care footprint for role delivery.
