Job summary

Wight Healthcare is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join our Integrated Community Team. You will assess, treat and support adults in their homes and communities, providing holistic rehabilitation and equipment adaptations to promote independence and safety.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care, falls prevention, postural management, and home adaptations, while supporting service development and teaching junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Band 5 Occupational Therapist with community experience.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in service development and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and support adults in their homes and communities.
• Provide holistic rehabilitation, falls prevention, moving and handling assessments, postural management and equipment provision.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across health and social care to promote independence and safe living at home.
